¨Guiding is essentially about a genuine enjoyment and an honest appreciation of, and dedication to all the many faces nature has to offer us. It is indeed a privileged occupation. Imagine being paid to take people out into the wilds of Africa!"

Bushwise is an endorsed training centre accredited by FGASA in accordance with their standards and code of conduct.

All qualifications you obtain through Bushwise are national qualifications endorsed by FGASA and/or THETA. Bushwise as a training centre is accredited to offer the following qualifications:

  • FGASA level 2 Theory* and practical
  • FGASA level 3 Theory and practical
  • THETA NQF2* and 4
  • Trails guide practical experience* and Theory*

*Qualifications currently offered on the one year course

Due to regulations set out by FGASA, in order to complete more advanced qualifications as a trainee guide you need to gain a minimum number of days guiding.
