To celebrate hitting 50,000 followers on Instagram, we’re giving away a free 3-day, 2-night stay to one lucky follower at our campus in the Greater Kruger National Park. Go on game drives, see incredible wildlife, learn about the art of tracking, get to know our students and trainers, and live it up in the bush!

How does it work?
It’s easy – just follow the steps below to enter the giveaway!
One lucky follower will WIN a 3-day, 2-night stay at our Bushwise Campus in the Greater Kruger National Park.
The winner will be randomly selected. The prize is redeemable for up to two years from the date of the announcement.

How to enter
Please note: The prize does not cover the cost of flights, visas, or spending money (full inclusions and exclusions are detailed in the T&Cs).
The winner will only be contacted directly via our @bushwise.sa Instagram or @bushwise TikTok account. We will never request bank details.
Terms and Conditions

Anyone aged 15 years or older may enter. Entrants under the age of 18 years must have their parent or guardian’s permission to enter (by entering, the entrant confirms that they have the necessary permission). If the winner is under the age of 18 years, they will need a parent or guardian to accompany them on their overnight stay. The parent or guardian will be responsible for covering any and all associated costs for their stay and any other charges that may arise.

Current and past Bushwise participants may enter the competition.

Current Bushwise employees, suppliers, partners, and contractors (and their immediate families) may not enter the competition.

Companies or branded businesses may not enter. Only entrants with their own valid, open Instagram accounts will be considered. Private accounts will not be considered as we can’t view all entry mechanisms of the competition.

Entrants must follow Bushwise’s official Instagram account (@bushwise.sa) and TikTok account (@bushwise), ‘like’ the post on either platform about the competition, tag at least 3 friends in the comments, and say why they’d love to win this competition.

Entrants may participate as many times as they’d like, but only one winner will be randomly selected.

All individual handles from both platforms (IG and TT) will be added to the draw - in other words, people who follow us on both platforms will get two entries.

The competition starts on 09 April 2025 and ends on 23 April 2025 | 23:59 SAST.

The winner of the competition and a guest will be entitled to spend a weekend (three days and two nights, Friday - Sunday) at the Bushwise SAWC Campus (Kempiana campus), where they will experience what it’s like to be a Bushwise student. Dates and campus locations are subject to availability.

The following is included in the prize: basic accommodation (safari tent or lodge room on a sharing basis) on the Bushwise campus, meals, 24-hour support, airport pick-up and transfer to campus (unless otherwise stated), game drives, course experiences, and relevant training.

The following are excluded from the prize: additional drinks and gratuities, extra local excursions, flights, international and domestic airport taxes, medical and travel insurance, personal items and toiletries, police or background checks, visa costs, additional transfers, or extra purchases.

The prize is not transferable, exchangeable, replaceable, or refundable for cash or credit and can only be used as specified.

The winner will be randomly selected via a randomiser tool on 24 April 2025.

Following the random selection, the winner will be notified on 24 April 2025 via a direct message from Bushwise on Instagram.

The winner has 72 hours from the time and date of the notification being sent to respond, provide proof of eligibility (ID and passport), and complete our contest winner information form (which will be sent in an email). If the prize is not claimed by the winning entrant within this time frame, the prize will be redrawn, and any previous winners will forgo all claims to the prize.

To book a program, the winner and their guest must complete our information form, accept the terms and conditions of participation, and undergo an orientation call. Once approved, Bushwise will confirm the program and dates in writing.

If the winner is under the age of 18, their parents or guardian will be required to accept the terms and conditions on their behalf. If the winner is under the age of 18, they must also be accompanied by a parent or guardian as the other guest.

In the event that the winner does not meet the admissions criteria for their selected program, we will randomly select another winner via a randomiser tool.

If the winner declines the prize, a new winner will be randomly selected via a randomiser tool.

All personal data will be handled according to the Bushwise privacy policy.

By accepting the prize, the winner agrees (and, if under 18 years old, their guardian/parent agrees) to have their name used in a post on Bushwise’s official Instagram and other social media accounts. If there are relevant data protection laws that regulate Bushwise’s use of the winner’s personal data, Bushwise will comply with such laws before publishing this personal data.

By accepting the prize, the winner agrees to provide Bushwise with a selection of photos and videos taken during their stay for use on the Bushwise Instagram and other social media accounts.

The prize is valid for two years from the date the winner was randomly selected. This means that the winner must book and complete their Bushwise stay within two years of winning.

Once the winner’s dates have been confirmed, they will be permitted one free transfer to another date as long as the transfer was requested at least 12 weeks prior to the start date. The new start date must be agreed upon at the time of transfer. Any further transfers will only be permitted at Bushwise’s discretion and may require a transfer fee. Should the winner cancel their stay, they will forfeit their prize.

Bushwise reserves the right to cancel or curtail the program at its discretion. This includes cases of force majeure. In the event of cancellation in this instance only, the winner will be eligible to select another similar program or start date within the prize’s two years of validity. No compensation will be offered for any expenses incurred by the winner, including, but not limited to, airfare, visa expenses, insurance, documentation, and equipment purchases. Please note that this list is not exhaustive.

These terms and conditions comprise the whole agreement between Bushwise and persons wishing to enter the competition. These terms and conditions are binding on all persons wishing to enter the competition and cannot be amended or otherwise changed unless the changes are agreed to and signed by Bushwise in writing.
